No, they didn't. All they condemned was the dumping! They didn't condemn the instant euthanasia!

Ah. I stand corrected.

So, you're charging PETA with taking animals from shelters as soon as they arrive and euthanizing them?

I'm charging PETA with euthanizing animals before giving them a chance for a better life. A chance, is all I ask.

What do you define as "a chance?" Who gets to make that decision?

given that that is all anyone was convicted of actually doing, that makes sense.

some people claimed that peta members came in and took animals under false pretenses. those charges weren't even among the charges dropped but instead were ones everyone was actually acquitted of. really, it all looks more like ass-covering when a possible publicity nightmare showed up when they got caught dumping them. the obvious question was 'where did those animals come from?' the obvious answer was all the shelters and whatever that had contracted with peta to euthanize animals for them. suddenly those shelters are worried about looking bad, so they try to distance themselves as much as possible. it makes more sense than the alternative.

Peta has never claimed to be against euthanasia. They are against only the painful forms of euthanasia.

PETA is not an animal shelter. It is an advocacy organization.

This discussion is very one sided. Read this for the perspective of Peta on why they support euthanasia.

As far as I am concern, PETA can suck it.

I'm not sure what inmates and PETA have in common but I suppose you are right if...

This inmate has been accused of using or supporting euthanasia of animals in some cases...

And you ask this inmate if he or she does support euthanasia in some cases...

And the inmate replies that yes he or she not only supports it but has in fact done it and details the cases where this procedure has been used...

Then I guess you could say that peta is like an inmate who is asked this question? I'm not really sure how that relates to anything though.

Thats like asking an inmate if he's innocent.

so you are claiming that while peta publicly advocates euthanasia, they secretly think it is evil, and then engage in euthanasia because they secretly are evil.

that's totally not at all stupid!
