Yes, I'm aware. My point was not about the original meaning of the word, or its use in a European context, or how anarchists use the term amongst themselves, but the group that it currently refers to in American political discourse.

I'm a tentative Sanders supporter myself, so I'm perfectly content if libertarians want to vote for him, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me, any more than the crossover appeal of Ron Paul made sense to me eight years ago.
