At last count, one in custody, and two dead - one male, one female, iirc. Motives unknown.

As I understand it, the number of crimes has been decreasing since the 1980s (something I've seen attributed to the influence of video games, actually!) but the number of people killed in individual crimes is up. So the US doesn't have so much of a gun homicide problem so much as it has a spree killing problem.
