San Bernadino isn't a high status city like Paris. I find it odd that San Bernadino would be their choice to do that, not impossible but odd.

True, but it's not so much the high status that matters to them. Perhaps these guys were independent terrorists who nevertheless aligned with ISIS thinking?

Also, the suspect's name is apparently Farooq Saeed, as that's the name currently circulating right now according to police chatter on the scanners.

There was also one last week in New Orleans but no one died from it.

I understand you point, but one would think that if IS was to strike a city, it would be somewhere like San Francisco or Los Angeles.

That being said, if this actually is ISIS, then that just makes the whole thing worse...

I suspect if it was ISIS, this may have been just meant to be a warning of some sort, since it doesn't look like a diversion attack as nothing else has happened yet.

If it's not ISIS, that doesn't rule out people inspired by them.

So someone explain to me how Good Guys with Guns can stop a bunch of guys with rifles and ballistic vests if the reports are right?
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

I'd think they attack LA if it was ISIS, not a town no one ever heard of besides locals.

Just looked at the news stream I have in front of me; it looks like they pulled another suspect's body out of the shot up vehicle.
