But, legislators don't just vote on a ban with no evidence so...answer the questions about how Santa has hurt society and the question about if, you had too, write a 5 to 10 page length paper on why Santa should be banned?

Really do not see an issue with allowing children to believe in Santa Claus. Not aware of anyone who doesn't naturally just grow out of such childish beliefs by a certain age anyway.

I find the concept of Santa to be equivalent to a particular being whose existence has not been proven.
