It's more a hypothetical state than anything else, but yes the Roman REPUBLIC(not the empire) is in part an inspiration alongside the ideas of Niccolò Machiavelli and Plato's Republic. An Authoritarian Corporatist Directorial Constitutional Republic, which is preferably a city-state, with an emphasis on civic virtue rather than on commerce and with the civic-republican(active citizen) rather than liberal-individualist(passive citizen) conception of citizenship as an ideal would be what I find ideal more or less.

I see. One could argue that such a state would be rather unpleasant to live in though; individuality and civic liberties are quite important tenets.

I am a collectivist, that and stability and virtue are most important things for me rather than liberty(though there will be some in moderation) for the most part. We will have free healthcare and tertiary education
This is a city meant for the strong of heart, not for the faint.

Therefore, dictatorships are democracies."
Defective logic 101 strikes again

It should be evident just by looking at the cost of campaigning for a presidential nomination that the title of POTUS is really only open to the wealthy elite. Same goes for most other positions.
