We also have more than a few excellent beers as well, no matter what the Belgians say about the average quality of our breweries. It's not all just Heineken over here, you know.

Heineken does a nice tour though.

Literal blackjack and hookers, though.

Air fare is cheap, why not both?

Unfortunately there are more than a few scumbuckets in Amsterdam whose sole reason of existence seems to be to ruin things for people better than them. Granted, you have those in most bigger cities.

That doesn't bother me, I am very accommodating to tourists. What amazes me is the fascinating they have for our squirrels, and other urban wild life.

It's like they don't have squirrels, pigeons or sparrows where they come from. Even garbage seems like a new discovery.

I mean, taking pictures is all right, but they almost yell at me to get out of the way. A simple, calm request would be fine.

Usually they tend to ask nicely.

For the rest there's deliberately and maliciously ruining their picture.

Japanese cities tend to be remarkably clean, apparently. Maybe we shouldn't find it amusing that they respond to our street garbage in such a way. It seems more like a reason to be ashamed.

There's been an odd upswing in tourists taking pictures of newsagents and, I jest you not, pavement. Oh such fun.

Man, it's a great thing I don't hear people saying so much stupid shit in real life or I'd be in prison for assault by now.

Seriously, the amount of idiocy and blatant willful ignorance is astounding. They just quit fucking replying when you prove them wrong, sit back and use condescending smilies once in a while, maybe.

Drives me up the fucking wall.

Not by covertly editing the pictures they took, silly Val. It's almost as if you never heard of photobombing.

I try to recycle but I'm not perfect. If anyone is to blame it's the garbage people; they make everyone late and half the time they're tardy themselves when it comes to picking up rubbish. You wouldn't believe the size of some of those mountains of trash here.

We certainly get that here, times square, and by work is notorious for ripping off tourists. I will talk 5o the cops about it when I see it happening.

What was weird about Amsterdam was the guys who tried to mug us, we're half our size, and they were not armed. And the friend who I was with if anything was bigger than me.
