Of all the hundreds of tornado watches, I've never had to go into the basement. I've seen a few of em in person touch down, but they were always travelling away

I've chased a cell that spawned a tornado that tracked 17 miles out over the Thumb and have seen them touch down to my north twice but from miles away.
