Here, I give you a challenge.

I'll write about 9 homes on the fictional dead-end suburban street of Coconut Grove and the cars parked in front of them or in the garages, and you'll profile the owners of these cars and houses (you don't need to write about all 9).
So, here we go:
: A 2-bedroom bungalow in very slight disrepair. In front of it are a 2016 Fiat 500e and a 2014 Nissan Versa with a dented driver's door.

A well-maintained 2-bedroom bungalow with a playhouse in front. It has a 2001 Honda Accord with a "Baby on Board" sticker and a child seat inside, and a 2002 Ford E-250 with a livery saying "Hernandez Carpentry and Upholstery", a "Baby on Board" sticker and a child seat inside. In the backyard is a non-running 1975 Lincoln Mark IV project car.

A 3-bedroom 2-story house with a designer garden. It has a 2017 BMW 320i and a 2014 Tesla Model S60 parked in front of it, both cleaned perfectly.

A 3-bedroom 2-story house with a post-party mess in front of it. It has a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with a lift kit in the driveway.

A normal 4-bedroom 2-story house. It has a 2014 Toyota Sequoia, a 2012 Toyota Avalon hybrid and a Caterham 7 replica in front of it.

A 4-bedroom 2-story house with a pair of American flags at the porch. There are a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban, a 2015 Cadillac ATS and a 2013 Dodge Dart with a bent rear bumper in front of the garage.

A 5-bedroom 2-story house with a pool. There are a 2017 Dodge Charger SRT392, a 2014 Dodge Durango with a "My child is a valedictorian" sticker and a 1969 Dodge Super Bee in the garage.

A 5-bedroom 2-story house with overgrown lawn and a pool with no water inside. You can see a 2000 ex-cop Crown Victoria, a 2002 Ford Taurus and a 1996 Honda Civic with faded paint by it.

A 6-bedroom 2-story villa with a pool and a party pad. It has a 2017 Tesla Model S P100D, a 2010 Maserati GranTurismo, a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban and a 2015 Mini Cooper around it.

So, can you profile the home and car owners? (You don't need to profile all, just list the house numbers at the profiles).

More like taking the Malibu in for an oil change, then being told by the mechanic that all the fuel lines were so corroded that I was better off getting a new car than fixing it...

Oof. Sounds nasty.
Random thought, anybody want to know what my fantasy 7-car garage is?

7 car garage? Dream big or go home.

Do tell us.

Why literally new, and why an Impala?

For that price, I'd buy an used Infiniti M35h, or, if I needed a foldable rear seat and a more fun drivetrain, a Lexus IS-F. Or a BMW 5-/3-series, but only with an aftermarket warranty.

Mine:
- Brand-new Bentley Bentayga - https://www.bentleymotors.com/en/misc/c ... 1NWlVIOU05
- Brand-new Porsche 911 Carrera 4S,
- Brand-new Mazda MX-5 - https://www.mazdausa.com/shopping-tools ... %7CWLK&io=
- A Fox Body Mustang dragster, with over 1500 HP,
- A low-budget rotten Oldsmobile 98-based racecar I built in BeamNG.
Racing seat, rollcage, fuel cell, 305 engine swap with TH350M, new shocks, new bushings, overhauled brakes with new pads, resprayed rims with used 225 tires, extreme weight reduction: no bumpers, grille, rear fascia, hood, trunklid, rear doors, front wheel inner skirts and a custom dashboard.

- A Corvette C3 prerunner,
- A brand-new Ford F-450 tow car - http://shop.ford.com/build/superduty/?g ... 7B.66S.%5D

The new Chevy Impala is not that bad, in terms of mid-level "affordable luxury", and it's a lot more interesting than what was in the 2000s. But, If I had to have a Chevy badge, I'd splurge for an SS. Maybe, the Taurus SHO. Depending on their budget.

Carbon-carbons give better braking, but wear out quicker, carbon-ceramics brake worse, but wear out slower.

I think the Celebrity Sedan is the best purchase in these conditions.

I'd go with the Subie

Why? It's a small car, about two sizes smaller than the American ones (save for the LeBaron and Eagle) and about a size smaller than the other imports (save for the Tredia and Jetta).
