Now that this thread is coming to it's close, I do have something I think will find itself appropriate for ask.

Should we have a partition, potentially into Arts and Fiction or something like that, where we essentially have the CDT TET? A lot of our good conversations get torpedoed by not being on point which is understandable, but the normal TET is not my cup of tea.

My local parish has managed to spruce up the liturgy without going overboard. Some nice folk guitar to accompany some songs and liturgical prayers. They took a bit more traditional route on the Easter Vigil, but non of it compares to the Traditional Liturgy done at the Church in my home town.

I can't blame a man for gambling. Cards aren't my cup of tea(although I do appreciate the lottery and an occasional dice game), but there's nothing inherently wrong with it.
I do however see a reason for caution. Parish budgets can be huge, and priests have a fair amount of latitude in spending it, and as Fr. Mike explained there aren't very many audits.

Dice are dangerous. My first roll ever, I rolled for about 25 minutes straight. Made everybody at the table rich except me cause I hadn't figure out how to bet yet. Haven't caught anything close to that luck since, but It is mighty tempting to try. I mainly stick to Poker. It's less a gambling game, more one of patience and skill, so i feel less guilty about it too.

I literally find poker to be more complicated than rocket science. So I stick to black jack.

See, I always look at it like this: Life is like a game of chess. As an omniscient being, God is fully capable of seeing every possible first move you make, and every possible ending, and every possible move in between, before the game even begins. You're not forced to pick any opening, but literally nothing you do will catch God off guard.
