And that's why we went to war? Also I knew full well what he meant I was having a dig at the term he used.

Diffusion and its effect on cells would also be a good topic for that one.

I read it more as, "I hate some Christians, but it's just because I hate all stupid/ignorant people."

The theory of evolution through natural selection IS a look at the bigger picture and trying to find the causes and consequences of the fact of evolution.

Seriously though - the scientist fits hypotheses to the data. And if they cannot find an explanation, they simply say: "I do not know. Yet".
Christianity otoh makes a positive claim: God did it, in this and this way. NOT in the way those silly Hindus, Greeks, Celts, Egyptians, Scientologists etc claim.

Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
Note that 'free will' is an epic fail of an argument; if 'free will' was an argument, then why are there natural disasters and pure coincidences? If 'free will' was important, then how about blinded men not becoming unblinded? How is that 'free will'?

None of this has anything to do with whether or not he exists or not. It just deals with the morality of God.

Why do you force your beliefs into our schools?
Why do you try to force your agenda into our government?
Why do you try to force your religious tenets, most of which you can't even follow, into our law books?
Why do you try to enforce religious discrimination into our society? Discriminating against atheists, other religions, other denominations, and homosexuals.
Why do you make shit up to counter scientific proven fact? 6,000 year old earth, Great Flood, Age of the Universe, Dinosaurs died before humans evolved, Evolution, geology, physics, anthropology, sociology, archaeology, astronomy, biology, and any other scientific field that disagrees with Biblical Creationism.
So, Christians. Why do you hate everyone else?
