Of course not. 5% of the population however, is a fairly large percentage.

If you give me a million workers to work in a mine, and I only give you back 50,000, am I giving you back a fairly large percentage of your workers?

I still recall fondly the thread about a Texas School Board removing Higher Order Thinking Skills from the curriculum lest children equipped with such skills question their parents' authority.

Well, no, a carbon tax will encourage business and industries to monitor, control and minimise their carbon footprint.

Reducing emission or something so radical as reducing consumption in the first place would be things to reduce the impact of climate change - plans of action that may be considered in response to policies such as carbon tax.

How do we reduce emission? We need to maintain our economy, yet we cannot do so, without leaving ecological and carbon footprints.

You know nothing about atheism. Atheism isn't "there is no god you stupid people". Even if your story is true, then the guy would be guilty of being an arsehole, not of being a "true atheist", i.e. one who believes their lack of belief is a religion.

You don't know what the hell you're talking about.

by incentivizing technology and the research for it that reduces emissions.

So, hold on. If atheism requires faith, then what if I have no faith in anything at all? I certainly don't have faith in humanity, at least.

Seriously, saying that not having a religion is a religion is like saying off is a tv channel.

Atheism doesn't require faith. They just think God does not exist.

Or lack faith that he does. Subtle difference ;)

Oh, or lack faith that *a* god exists. A Hindu is not an atheist, despite believing the Christian God does not exist.

I don't care what Religion the teacher follows,What she did should have her fired. Forcing her beliefs on this child is wrong in every sense of the word! Every teacher should keep every avenue except ones that glorify death in this day and age open. Absolutely no exceptions to the rule should be practiced at all! This crap is exactly why I want to get into law.

Hinduism is not a good example since many do believe the Christian god exist, it is just sadly misunderstood by its followers.

Matthew 17:20 hints at the lack of faith in Christians.
20And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

After reading this, have you ever seen a man move mountains? I highly doubt you have. Therefore, it can be inferred that most Christians have little to no faith.
