I am a change one thing up at a time kinda guy, so the balloon from above for me is the big change of pace, particularly from 16,000 feet. Soup or spaghetti would disperse far to widely for my amusement value. 30 waterballons, at .75 second intervals. Hilarious.

You know, I don't have any of those. And I never saw anything inherently 'magic' about them when I helped fold laundry as a kid, but hey. I don't know the whole meaning and ritual behind it all, having never been through the temple for that particular deal, but the gist is, from what I've heard, that it has to do with modesty, with remembering the sacred covenants one has made, and taking them seriously and such - which leads to following the gospel, and overall leading a better life - wherein comes the blessings and 'protections' and what not. I could be wrong, but there ya have it, fwiw.

Yeah, it was hard for me to vote. The whole thing was giming my a headache. I really like both of them personally, but I had to give it to Kalosia, just because I think he got robbed when he submitted a host bid a few(?) editions back.

I personally liked Kalosia's over Normandy's, because the graphics and the level of organization by the former were just pure excellence. Normandy, I think, N&P only got the majority of the votes, because he was innovative by using a PDF brochure-type presentation.

I don't currently have as much time as usual to host which is why my bid has been downsized, but if I have the time I actually have a great idea for my next bid - not an original one, but an upgrade to a previous idea that will bring my bid to a whole new level. As for what that idea is... you'll find out eventually
