I'd just like to state for the record that I have no desire or intent to let Infected Mushroom define what is right or wrong for me, or anyone else. Anyone suggesting anything is "for their own good" needs to learn to mind their own business.

And speaking of business, boxing is big business. The only way to really end it is to remove the business incentives. In other words, get the audience to stop watching it and make it less attractive to the money people. I've done my part. I've never watched a boxing match, and done my best to avoid contributing financially to any organization that benefits from it. That's difficult to do, because I like my cable TV, and part of my monthly bill supports channels like ESPN and HBO. Both of them show boxing, which presumably makes them money. If I could isolate the boxing charges from the rest of my payment, I assure you that I would stop paying. But that's not the way it's set up. I can only assume that their accountants think it's a good thing to continue to pay for as well, or they'd drop it like a hot potato.
