Though, I find it very easy to face my fears. It just gives me the shivers if I'm alone.
I was too, when younger. By the time I turned 10 I had lost my fear of the dark. I currently have a phobia of most insects. I'm trying to get over it, to no avail, but the previous acrophobia I suffered from is way under control, has been for the past five years I believe.

I have a huge fear of syringes (No, I'm not an anti-vaxxer if you were wondering).
I know it's beneficial. I know it's just a small poke. I know it barely hurts. And you know what? It doesn't matter one damn little bit.
I'm not some silly little coward. I'm a typical person with a minor psychological issue. (Stop laughing. I'm sort of typical... I think.)

I'm not okay with forced darkness. Not really afraid of the dark, I don't sleep with a light on or anything, but I need the ability to turn on the light just in case. I can't sleep during power outages.
Also, flying insects. Blech.

At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

Today I ran one and a half blocks with a cup of hot chocolate in my hand (makes it much more tolerable). I used to run a lot more but I haven't been really doing that this year much. A mile around the track-and-field field and my legs already feel like blocks of stone and I have to sit down. I used to do a lot better.

While I was patrolling the Mojave, and wishing for nuclear winter the wrath of Caesar blessed Benuty with fire, and the Grand Canyon.
I survived, but at a price so just call me Hobbes now.
