Also, Letting your religion define you to an extent is inevitable. But it's always going to be "Gim's Christianity" or "Jochistan's Islam". Not as if the religion as a whole belongs to you, but in the sense where the religion, no matter how hard you try, will become your version of it.

Just because some of them fail to live up to that standard means nothing. Every priest I've met is a decent human being and they are what I use as standards.
