We're NSG, we view ideas by their merits. Your ideology has to stand on its own merits with us. Just my two cents for this.

Also, I would like for you to stay. It's okay, we all hide things from other people online. You knew this would happen, too.

Your life. You have been given a measure of divinity in the form of your intellect and free will to fashion your life as you deem fit and rightful for yourself. At the end of the day most organized religions are just tools to help you get in touch with your Greater Self. They're not ends in themselves. It would be shameful if despite all the liberty, capacity for thought and development you have been given, and despite the generous measure of life you are given for accomplishing the greatest things, you choose to surrender it still to something so petty. Be yourself, and think for yourself. Uphold the teachings of your faith, but do not let it define you. You are more than any scripture ever written - either by the hand of man or of heaven.

Honestly, although I get that religion is important to some people, I have a hard time believing that it is the sole designing factor of a person. If it becomes that, and jimmies are going to be rustle and I really don't care, I'm not seeing religion anymore. I'm seeing brainwashing. The search for the divine, IMO, doesn't cancel the search for ourselves. Not everything is about gods, and churches.

If it becomes that, I truly think some re-evaluation of what we believe and why is needed. We're supposed to revere the deity, not those who spread the message. Then it becomes a cult of personality and not about god anymore.
