I hated how much they left out in the movies. But then again, it only has 2-4 hours to tell the story.

If you're a girl, I'll be sending your file to the Witnesses for consideration. If they approve, you may proceed to the second stage of trials.
If you're not a girl, your file will be incinerated unceremoniously, except that people keep on copying it and spamming the dry-run zone with them.

Yeah, I liked the first three movies a lot. Goblet of Fire was a kind of meh-ish one as far as I can remember. Good, but a bit inaccurate.
OOTP and HBP films were even more errant and distracted. Didn't like HBP, felt like that was the bloody low point.
Deathly Hallows- good thing they split it, but still too much artistic license. That blasted thing where Voldy flies with Harry and then beats him to the ground wouldn't have happened, he'd just AK him.

It really got really dark towards the end. I feel like it didn't keep the original mood of Harry Potter.

It started out as a good series for 10 and up, and moved to something for mid teens, without the improvement in writing.

Merope's death confused me. Did she die because Riddle Sr. left her once she stopped drugging him, or...somehow else?
Hopefully he'd have joined the secret BDSM scene in Britannia rather than the Muggle-hating dark wizard scene instead, due to his sadistic tendencies. Oh wait, I got that shit wrong again, didn't I. Fuck.
