Bats have been somewhat proven to be major causes of Ebola. Not whales! Silly mod. Plus, how can one share a land border with whales and expect those poor creatures do survive above the surface? I am not sure. I have never tried to infect a sheep, and I am sometimes pretty oblivious to my hosts' suffering anyway. But I could probably infect a sheep if I tried. I can infect a lot of different kinds of mammals.

It's easier to get infected hunting bats than eating them, because the people who catch them handle the bats before they are cooked. If you're dumb enough to eat raw bats...
