There seems to be alot of Turks returning to the worship of Tengri since their ancestors did it. Most are from the intellectual class who tend to dislike the current government. Not all of them are like that though.

Depends on how far they take their national pride, really. It's good to be proud of your identity, but it's bad to take that the the extent that you think your group is superior to others'.
