Whoop dee doo, good for you. Other people enjoy drinking booze, for myriad. That doesn't mean that they do it solely to relieve stress or that they're in the wrong for imbibing. And if it's a religious thing, even Jesus drank wine .

Yeah, I can't say anything about religion, although most Protestant churches serve grape juice, instead of wine.
Okay. *backs off* I mean, that is my opinion. I do have friends who drink, and I must say, I'm around enjoying myself with them while they are drinking. I just don't drink alcohol myself. I still appreciate them, even if they drink. :)

The key is moderation.

Well, as long as I can manage my own stress without drinking, I'm fine just not drinking.
The whole point of drinking alcohol is to alleviate stress, that is why.

Interesting note:

Moderate drinkers live the longest out of any group. Even alcoholics live longer than those who abstain entirely.

If memory serves, the order from longest lived to shortest lived is Moderate>Light>Alcoholics>Abstainers

Alcohol in general thins the blood, indeed. Red wine is the preferred choice because of its additional antioxidants and reservadol(?) reservatrol? That thing.

Yeah, that thing, the resveratrol. Which is better when taken from wine than taking it in any supplements.

That's the excuse I use.
The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

Then it's good I stopped abstaining lately. I'm afraid the pressure has truly left me a little overwhelmed, and I've found that a simple wine cooler or the like has done wonders to calm the nerves and allow me to sleep better after. >_>

And rethink my store prices, which I've adjusted. One probably shouldn't look at established biz bits for pricing guidance. I just want this to work out so badly, and patience? Please. We all know patience is not a virtue I happen to possess much of, if any. And what I might have generally gets used up so I don't gripe at la famiglia, because usually they don't deserve it. Dln, the irs gives a business 3 years before it expects it to turn a profit. It takes time to generate positive cash flow.
