Yes they are. If for nothing else, then for the simple fact that there are far more extreme groups, on both the left and right, than there are Muslim groups.

But ultimately, terrorist attacks aren't really that big a threat anyway. What I'd be far more worried about, were I an America, is the One Percent buying Washington wholesale and the increasing power of the extreme right. I see this as no big surprise. White terrorism has been a huge problem in the past from the KKK, to abortion clinics being bombs to School shootings. I see it as no big surprise. It is mainly because white people have a habit of supporting the status quo even it is in a violent manner. It is that reason why, the left needs to become militant as well. Yeah there is an obvious prejudice against Muslims in the media and the majority of people. According to the FBI the majority of terror attacks from 1980-2005 were done by Latinos at 40 something percent.
