I'll be serious and nominate Reverend Desmond Tutu of South Africa. The man was not only a courageous fighter against apartheid, but he still continues to fight corruption, AIDs, poverty, and misinformation today. He does this not only in South Africa, but for his entire continent.

No, I'm pretty sure I'm talking about Desmond Tutu. Mandela isn't the only famous South African...

I'd like to nominate for the NSG Peace Prize 2015 Ukrainian president Petro Oleksiyovych Poroshenko for his efforts to bring peace to his long-suffering and still fighting for it's real freedom country. He of all the people tries to actually follow these Minsk agreements and currently is even willing to sacrifice his own career as a politician in the name of long lasting peace.

During his interview to the Bild magazine Poroshenko was called The President of Peace. I also heard that he will be nominated for the Noble peace prize this year but can't find the link right now.

So are we going to follow the time-honoured tradition of the real Peace Prize to have national leaders currently leading war efforts nominated for "Peace" Prizes?

If so, I might feel tempted to nominate Bashar al-Assad...

Desmond Tutu has already, most deservedly, gotten the actual Peace Prize for his work to bring down apartheid, why nominate him for the NSG one as well?

Public declaration.
I will be in jail come the 24th of September 2015 and I won't be out until 2016.

I respectfully request Risottia to carry my vote for Blue Shield organization that was nominated by Arch, and seconded by myself.

Since I would surely vote in each phase were it in my power.

I ask this publically, so that if Risottia finds my absentee vote acceptable, there is proof I made the request.

I nominate David Cameron for standing up to the threat to National Security that is the Opposition. May he bring the country to heights that Burkina Faso has recently reached.

I would like to nominate Malala Yousafzai for her fight to give all children the right to education, regardless of gender. She has fought tirelessly for the rights of women and children worldwide.

I nominate for my organization:
Genocide Watch. This is an organization dedicating to documenting and researching genocide. Genocide Watch also documents situations of discrimination and racism which could lead to genocide. Genocide Watch has a "10 stages" model which is able to show how close countries around the world are to genocide. Genocide Watch has contributed significantly to the prevention and documentation of genocide and has significantly contributed to global peace. For these reasons Genocide Watch should win the NSG Peace Prize.
