The deal represents huge progress and may be a huge step for peace in the Middle East. No other issue impacted Peace this year more than this deal and Hassan was the biggest player in it.

That is a lot of Iran-related nominations this year. :p

Updated.

Merged the nominations of Rouhani and Iran/P5+1, as Rouhani is the leader of the Iran. I suggest merging also the nomination of Kerry, as US foremost negotiator in the Iran/P5+1 deal, into a single nomination of Rouhani, Kerry, Iran and P5+1.

You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

I voted for Rouhani & Kerry & Iran & P5+1. The Iran deal is a doorway to peace and cooperation by Iran and the West in Middle East.

I cast my vote for Rouhani & Kerry & Iran & P5+1. The deal opens up new possibilities, and may hopefully serve as a foundation, of closer relations and cooperation between Iran and the Western countries in the future.

As stated before, I support the Iran/P5+1/Kerry/Rouhani nomination. The foreign ministers of the P5+1 and Iran worked extremely hard under politically strained circumstances in order to achieve an agreement that will undoubtedly bring some measure of peace and security to the Middle East. I applaud them and their efforts and hope that they and whatever successors they will have will uphold the deal that they negotiated and prevent the beginnings of a regional nuclear arms race between Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Israel.

Indeed, that might draw a bigger audience than this has.

I'll be voting for MSF, a charity that operate in often very dangerous and difficult areas to deliver healthcare and medical training to those most in need regardless of who they are and where they come from. I have nothing by respect for their work and the bravery of its staff.
Just this morning it is reported that MSF have lost at least 3 staff in the Kunduz clinic after it was hit in an air strike with 30 staff still unaccounted for and 105 patients within the clinic at the time. -http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-34432471

I support Blue Shield International. I feel that they do a difficult but valuable job with very little in the way of global recognition, whereas Iran and the P5+1 have received a great deal of attention and been much feted already for their achievement. It would be nice for NSG to express in this small way its gratitude to the people who are struggling to preserve the world's cultural heritage, the importance of which is rarely if ever recognised until it has been lost.

All these (minus Merkel + Government) are pretty good, but I feel those involved with the Iran talks are the top for this for myself. I feel they have done the most work towards peace, but it's all pretty damn close in my opinion. Second would probably go to Blue Shield for doing their best to protect the cultural heritage of humanity from destruction then MSF. I hope to see those two next year as they definitely deserve to be lauded for their work.

It would be interesting to see how the Oslo Nobel Committee compares with us. So far it looks like MSF is edging ahead, and it is a pretty sterling candidate.
