I mean, we have mostly animals that in the scale of one to 10, ten being the kind of animal that can kill you in one gruesome death, and 1 being one that can only give you discomfort, our highest number is like a 6.

Well some places have trouble with dangerous pets. A somewhat worrying amount of people being killed or badly injured by dangerous dogs.

I also just left TV Tropes and the most terrifyingly funny light novel in history, Shimoneta.
