I'm not sure you understand what total war is....

I somewhat understand. Sort of. I just kinda wanted to cool things down. To my understanding, it's when there is no distinction between civilian and soldier, and everyone is a target.

But we aren't here to discuss this. We are here to remember those innocents who died in those terrible attacks on September 11.

God I'm gonna get flak for this.

I truly can't make an emotional connection to 9/11. Sure I was born before it but I was like an infant.

I can't feel bad for something that I have no personal experience for or the fact I couldn't even think for myself when it happened.
What do you call a greedy lobster?
A selfish shellfish, obviously!

Heyyyyooo! My name is John, and I'm from Nevada. I'm just getting into politics so I have little to know idea about the left or right scale. Which probably means I won't last long on this forum but *shrug*

Same. I still feel extremely sorry for all the family members of the deceased, but I was 8 months old, so I don't remember where I was or anything

I always feel like the truthers' narrative makes more sense than what actually happened. I guess if you're making something up, you can make it as intuitive as you like.

You mean to tell me civilians also die in wars?

*gasp*

By that shitty logic, why aren't Germany's, Britain's or any number of other countries past misdeeds 'coming home to roost'?

Why would you say that 9/11 is comeuppance for something the past American government did? I imagine a lot of the citizens that died in 9/11 were born after WWII, so it's not like they did anything wrong. And that's just that. You can't punish average civilians for something their government did during a war over half a century ago.

I have always been ashamed of America's response to the incident. Now, I'm in no way condoning it, defending the perpetrators, any of that. It was a horrible act with no justification. I will say though that maybe had America handled the Middle East differently, and just Americans handling foreign nations in general differently, maybe there wouldn't have been a motive for it. But in immediate response, America goes turbo power on the same things that might have caused it, and nutheads go all crusader in a decade of fear mongering and using American exceptionalism as an excuse for blatant violation of the rights of other nations.
NOTE: This nation's government style, policies, and opinions in roleplay or forum 7 does not represent my true beliefs. It is purely for the enjoyment of the game.

JET BEAMS CAN'T MELT FUEL STEEL.

(I'm sorry. No disrespect to those fallen, I just had to make fun of conspiracy theorists.)

You do know that buildings don't just poof into dust right?

Even if jet fuel could melt steel it the quantity of it surely could not of destroyed the entire skeleton.

Have you seen any failed demolition videos? A building would tip over not turning to dust but staying intact.

It collapsed literally into dust as if it were a controlled demolition. How the fuck does burning jet fuel which burns significantly less hotter then the needed temp to melt steel somehow compromise that structure?

Yes. Unless you prefer my theory that the first plane was a military jet and the second plane was a bunch of college kids being stupid.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Literally. The buildings turned into rubble, and the massive amounts of asbestos turned to fine grained dust which was spread upon impact.

God how many times do I have to fucking explain this. Logic for people: Asbestos turns to fine grain when collapsed onto, buildings turn to rubble. There's fucking shit everywhere.
