Aaron Sanchez is a good pitcher so far.

Tanaka just walked a batter.

Because nobody does that

If even a single starting pitcher doesn't walk a batter this season, let me know.

Also, who's the joker who voted for the Mariners?

I'm just saying. Yankees and Jays are playing right now, so I am giving an update. :)

Tanaka just struck two three batters out in a row. I can choose my facts selectively too.

It doesn't make a difference in the level of mediocrity and his being overrated.

He's certainly given the Yankees nothing to complain about thus far in the season.

Six games into the season. Too early to evaluate a player. Also, he did not win the last time he played.

Wins is the most misleading stat in the majors. His ERA is 2.35 thus far. The Yanks lost, but it wasn't really his fault.

Marco Estrada of the Blue Jays has 0.00 ERA.

Six games into the season. There are a hundred and sixty-two games in total in the MLB, if you haven't noticed.

Which means he pitched a few shutout innings. Your expectations are unrealistic.

I'm just saying it is too early to judge pitchers based on their ERA? Don't you understand the nuance of my posts?

You've got to be kidding me. Yes, it's early. That's why I said that Tanaka has given the Yankees nothing to complain about thus far. The period of time that "thus far" covers is irrelevant, because I already qualified that.

I know, but I don't see why that is important. If statistics in the early season is important, Marco Estrada must be the best pitcher in the world with 0.00 ERA.

Mariners actually have some good players. Marlins do not, since there is incompetent Ichiro and injury-prone Stanton.

Being 100% good at offense and 0% good on defense lets you hit tons of balls, but when the other team hits a playable, easy grounder, you cough up and get an error on the worst possible moment. Or three, for that matter.

What's the good in scoring points, when you're being scored by your own defensive errors?

Scoring 100 RBIs and allowing 50 runs on 40 errors, or scoring 20 RBIs and allowing one run on one error? Pick your poison. Hint: the first one is quite like Dim.

To be honest, Dim doesn't even score 100 RBIs. :lol2:

Scoring 100 RBIs and allowing 50 runs is bad enough, but not scoring 100 RBIs and allowing 50 runs is purely horrendous.

Dim did allow 42 defensive runs last year, so it isn't a stretch.

His future might already be going down due to that error. Dim needs to be whipped into shape - literally whipped into making routine grounders that every good fielder like Dee Gordon makes.
