If the Cubs win today, it will be the first time that the Cubs have clinched a postseason series at Wrigley Field, ever.

Well, I guess the only postseason series they have ever won are the 1907 World Series, the 1908 World Series (both before Cubs played at Wrigley), and 2003 NLDS, which they clinched in Atlanta.

I don't pray for baseball teams, even though I am very religious.

I saw on the news that there was a dude dressed up as a goat that got kicked out of the Cubs game, and I was like, "WTF, didn't the Cubs organization learn its lesson about kicking out goats already?"

The dude is dumb enough to think Halloween is when the Cubs' postseason starts. :p

Dude man, the win if flying out today. I predict another slugfest, which is good for the Cubs, because they don't want it to be a pitchers' duel, because Lackey would win.

Fuck the Piscotty home run. Oh my goodness, I jinxed myself when I posted this.

Cardinals have won 5 straight NLDS elimination games.
They're off to a good start with 2 runs in their first two at-bats.

I hope the Cardinals lose badly, and I hope several of their players get injured.

That last part is a joke? Because that could be seen as wishing death/ injury on someone.
I don't know how long I'll be back, but I just thought I'd stop in and say hi, at least.

Let's not hope for any more injuries. If you can wish for an injury to the opposition and it happens, the same will be for someone who wishes for injuries on your players. :)

That's absolutely despicable. To wish injury on anyone is disgusting. I have no effing words for you. I won't respond in kind though, because I'm classier than that.

Whoa, whoa. Although I can sympathize with you, we don't want any Cards-Cubs brawl in a NS MLB Postseason Thread. :p

I don't want a brawl either, but it had to be addressed. I would be equally outraged if someone had wished injury on the Cubs. It's unacceptable. Completely unacceptable, and I'm not going to leave such a post unaddressed.

Wow, I was kidding, lol. The Cubs don't even need this win, and I'm not even watching the game right now. LOLOLOL, you all thought I was serious.

Yeah, I turned it off after the Piscotty home run, so two at bats in. I have it recording, so I'll watch it if the Cubs win.

Yeah, I guess I should have used an emoji to show that I was kidding. My friend went to game two of the NLDS, and I was so jealous when I found out.

It's okay. Everyone makes mistakes.
