Why isn't your history Afro-centric yet?

To be honest, this thread included Europeans and Africans but forgot about Asians. While I myself am personally not familiar with African history, aside from the Egyptian Empire and the Zulu Empire. I am partially offended that a thread which exclaims that people are ignoring black history, which is as significant as anyone else's, but forgets to even acknowledge Asians (and the Native Americans).

Personal Opinion so I don't mind any criticism.

Well, Native American history is difficult to trace because they never kept records, or even had writing outside of the Mesoamerican civs like the Aztecs and the South American Incas.

I myself have always been fascinated by the people of Asia, in the Middle East (because the religion of Islam fascinates me), South East Asia (because of the uniqueness of their culture and similarities to the Inca, Mayan, and Aztec People [I think]), and of course the Far East (with the power of china, eastern philosophers, and how the Far East reacted to "Westerners")

There's a huge leap from saying, "West African Culture is fascinating and achieved many great achievements" and "Plato was a black man, and so was Charlemagne, Confucius, and al-Khwārizmī."

I literally just sat there and listened to lectures the whole time. Everyone else was sitting there writing notes and stuff and by the end of the year they were reviewing their notes from the previous week and meanwhile I still remembered the type of arrow the English longbow archers used to penetrate armor (we talked about it in like the first week or two). Only a sophomore in high school, which is why I'm a bit shaky on some subjects of history. Learning World History now! *has mixed feelings about that last bit*

But if I had the option I would take any Asian class.
