I actually frequent it quite regularly.

In particular, this post enraged me at it's very sight. I am a total history buff/geek/nerd, I love the subject of history and am always willing to learn more about it. I'd describe myself as a amateur historian.

And that is why this is so unsightly to me. There is nothing in this world I despise more than historical revisionism. Lies trying to be fed as truth, trying to deceive people into rethinking the history that we know is true, the history we have proven and known for years. It absolutely disgusts me, whats worse is when it's nonsensical, racist, bullshit like this.

The Egyptians were brown. but probably not black, which is why in their art they depicted themselves (copper skinned) different from Nubians and Kushites, who were black. (who were their successors in a way once, and advanced on their own)

The greek philosophers were fucking greeks.

Mary and Jesus were middle eastern.

The Moors did not bring Europe out of the dark ages. that was actually the europeans after various reformations to religious law. and booty brought back from the crusades. The Moors were more advanced for a time, yes. but they did not have much to do with Europe expanding technology and sanitation-wize.

The Moors were not exclusively black either, but a collection of Arabs, Berbers, Jews and Europeans. The Berbers are the only group thats black out of those.

There were many great african empires, such as the Kushites, Zimbabwe, Benin, Aksum, Ghana, Mali and the Songhai. But they did not define or improve in any real way the great western empires and cultures Such as the Greeks, Romans, Celts, Charlemagne's Empire, The Norse, England, France, Byzantines, Russia and all the rest.

My view of history tends to be Sino-centric, as I maintain that almost everything invented, almost every event in history can be traced back to China.

i agree to some extent that certain cultural ideas other people have tried to pass off as their own but i can say that isnt the case with elvis. in his interviews he gave credit to african performances and styles as the inspiration for his music. he said, "rock 'n' roll has been around for many years. it used to be called rhythm and blues". furthermore most textbooks and even the most uncitable of sources (wikipedia xd) correctly state the influence for jazz and other types of music as originating from african styles.

Or, it could be interpreted as a view- one that is wildly ahistorical, and just plain wrong on every level, but still a view being put forth.
