An old name for Egypt was Kem'et (km.t). It literally means "black". Though that can also be interpreted to mean fertile, "black" soil, corresponding with the ancient Egyptian Black Land/Red Land. It's possible that ancient Egyptians were black pre-Arabian invasions and pre-Ptolemy but we have no real way of knowing this.
