Could be a symptom of the gaming culture, yeah. Not sure. I have never really gotten in heated arguments regarding games because well, there's something to tickle everyone's fancy in the gaming industry. Sure, there are games I don't like because they fail at something for me or other but I do think that's personal rather than just that the game's bad. I don't like FF XIII-2, but there's a lot of people who do.
