I'm actually really happy with my height range... it's just tall enough so you can attract the ladies (6'2" is becoming more and more normal)... and tall enough so you can see and be seen in a crowd...

it does suck hitting your head on things and being a head taller than any girl you try to talk to (even if the girl is kinda tall at 5'8" I'm still 8 inches taller than her).

But I'm ok with it... I don't think I would want to be much more than 6'6" though... then you start hitting your head EvErYwhEre.

But I get what you're sayin.

Ah, I never minded being forced to lean down to talk to a person, I come from a rather short family on my Mom's side, while my Dad's side is rather tall. However, I think it bigotry and discrimation that this world is designed and ruled by the crazied, opressive, tyrantical short people!!!!!!!!!

Cars are too small. Planes are too small. Busses, trains... too small.

Door frames are often too small. Shelves are too low. Shops with stuff hanging from the ceiling? Too low.

The already-mentioned arch-nemesis ceiling fan, too low. Another favourite - ceilings on staircases (especially old stairs).


Sure, there are advantages. I don't have to get someone to get things down off shelves for me. If I lose people in the store, they can spot me from a distance. 9 times out of 10, I can change a lightbulb without needing to stand on anything.

But I might be willing to trade all that for not smacking my forehead on stuff ALL the time.

I checked my BMI the other day. Apparently being that tall and only weighing 120 pounds is bad. The test advised me to see a doctor.

So...I'm thinking about marketing the braces diet. You'd be amazed by how much less you eat once you have a big metal and rubber contraption cutting your mouth open every time you chew. No pain no gain, right? Well, I guess that's not actually true in this case. If there's pain there's no gain, because your mouth hurts too much to eat so you don't pack on pounds...

That does sound sickly thin. I'm your height and I weight a good 50% more than you- and not fat by any means.

Tough it out and eat something man, or get your orthodontist to fix it- I don't think its supposed to be cutting your mouth up. At least talk to him/her the next time you go.
