That's actually a fairly widely-held belief outside of Islam.

A Christian church in Syria, what few are left, will call God Allah.
Because Allah is the Arabic word for God.

As I understand it, some scholars believe that the whole "72 virgins" thing might be a mistranslation anyway and refer to something else. What, I'm not sure. But I think they're a minority of scholars so that could mean anything.

The religious equivalent of "I Don't Know That Person".
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

First off the inherent problem with the whole discussion is the fact that it's about the dogma and historical roots, scriptures, etc. What's important is the the actual behavior of the religious in reality. For the most part Christianity and Judaism have both gone through evolutions to where they can survive in the modern world somewhat successfully. Islam however, in my opinion anyways, has not evolved! It still has old beliefs that are no longer tolerable in the real world. Many moderate Christians condemn Christianity's crazies, but in the muslim world that is not as prevalent! Islam needs to evolve to become a more accepting religion, and a more peaceful one. That includes the people in the religion also.

If a religion promises to give its male followers infidel women from hell as virtual sex slaves, can we conclude that this is an immoral religion?

Also, no one has answered by query as to what pious Muslim women get in the afterlife. Allah promises Muslim men eternal erections and some virgins with pleasant vaginas, but these obviously do not apply to Muslim women.

I suppose now is a good time to bring up the inherent subjectivity of morality yes?

Well,we could ask women what they think ;) ?

Then again, plenty of women choose to be muslim voluntarily. So many seem to think it fine.

What is wrong with wanting to eliminate Islam? Any rational human being with a decent moral compass should be strongly opposed to Islam. Those who support Islam are either ignorant or immoral.

No. Islam has always been literalist. Even modernist Muslims who try to get away from the brutal medievalism pretend that the text of the Qur'an is misunderstood and must mean something else: they cannot say that parts of the Qur'an are just wrong.

I may be Jewish but, living in Israel and knowing many Muslims, I know there are well sourced Hadiths and other Hadiths which are not well-sourced. The Hadiths that are not as well sourced are more-so like unconfirmed gossip which are not taken as seriously as the Hadiths that are well sourced.

What, like the Jewish Holocaust? Or how the Nazi regime enforced negative stereotypes of Jews for their anti-semitic propaganda? Could a similar cycle of hatred be starting this time with Muslims being targeted?

Holocaust? No. More like the United States internment of Japanese Americans right after Pearl Harbor.

Bad PR mostly. I do not know how it is where you live, but a quick grab from recent Dutch news:

"group of muslims robs an old man", "group of muslim youths kills a referee", "group of muslims rapes a 93 old woman and urinate in the ashes of her husband", "muslim with machinegun subdued in the Thalys", "muslims implement Sharia law in part of the Hague", 'muslims shot while trying to rob jewellery store", "70% of muslim youths have been in contact with the police", "50% of Dutch muslims does not oppose IS", "30% of muslims unemployed" , "50% of prisons filled with muslims" etc. etc. etc.

It is a neverending bombardment of "muslims are bad" - and it does not even matter anymore if the news is true or not. Everybody personally knows at least one person who has been robbed, raped, threatened etc, by muslims - or at least claims they were. Add to that some quotes like the OPs, some images from the "Islamic State" and your demon is there.
