Or they could just be fruit.

Two questions..
1. Does the Qu'ran explicitly state males and females get them, or does it specify males ?
2. What happens to the holy bond of marriage if you get dozens of genderneutral fucktoys ?
Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease.
It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

1. the Qur'an (or my translation) doesn't even mention them for sex. It just says they serve you stuff and attend to your every need.

It does mention "Eternally young male youths." alongside "chaste virgins" it just says "believers" get them. not just male or female.

2. If you're married and you truly love that person you dedicated your life to, I guess they're only there to serve you food and grant wishes and stuff. or if you want to get together with your spouse and them, I'm sure no one will care if you both are into that.

or they're just metaphorical as in you get your youth and beauty back once you get to Paradise or something.

I fail to see what is "astoundingly immoral" about sex with heavenly beings. or sexbots.

And for the record, I also fail to see what's so horrifically wrong about raiding caravans for supplies and food for refugees or executing traitors during wartime. Honestly seems pretty pragmatic to me.

doesn't the Qur'an say specifically not to do that, though?

24:30 Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

I guess so. it's just that I really don't see how "you will get fair maidens/youths in heaven" necessarily equates to "Women are worthless babymakers"

Unless sex itself is immoral and misogynistic now. but only with Islam, as I presume no one here has a problem with porn or any of that stuff.

The attitude towards women in Islam is off course dismissive. That they aren't thought of when considering what divine rewards to bestow is hardly surprising. Indeed, it seems that the only two things Islamic women can hope for are to be objectified and treated as property, or to be neglected and ignored. I imagine the various types of mandatory coverings aid in this. For the former they establish and enforce a difference between the sexes and obscure humanizing features, and for the latter, the principle of "out of sight, out of mind" applies, of course.
"Concentration of power in a political machine is bad; and an Established Church is only a political machine; it was invented for that; it is nursed, cradled, preserved for that; it is an enemy to human liberty, and does no good which it could not better do in a split-up and scattered condition." - Mark Twain

I still kind get what about the concept of a Prophet that was part warrior like Muhammad is offputting to some.
but, for me, although I'm not Muslim, I've just really been intrigued by that. It's like revering Alexander the Great as a Prophet, almost. I don't know why, but the concept is fascinating.

The only thing I really ever get with people being disgusted about is the pedophilia and allegations of wife beating. which are both completely unacceptable and dubious in the sources they are brought from. The Hadiths. which are at best collected folktales.

Remember, Hadiths are literally someone saying "My grandpa told me that his friend told him that his friend told him that his friend told him that his friend told him that his dad told him that his friend told him that his friend told him that Muhammmad said/did...."

I'm not even joking, that is literally how Hadiths work.

Well, I knew someone would bring that up so,

And this quote from this article: https://advokatdyavola.wordpress.com/20 ... -veil-ban/

(Brackets are theirs, parentheses and asterisks mine)

“[these people] (proponents of the Hijab ban in France) typically don’t know much about Islam and would have a hard time saying what symbolizes what in that religion. But the more glaring flaw in the argument is that (Western )society is suffused with symbols of male supremacy that treat women as objects. S- magazines, n- photos, tight jeans* — all of these products, arguably, treat women as objects, as do so many aspects of our (Western) media culture. Every time I undress in the locker room of my gym, I see women bearing the scars of liposuction, tummy tucks, breast implants. Isn’t much of this done in order to conform to a male norm of female beauty that casts women as s- objects? Proponents of the burqa ban do not propose to ban all these objectifying practices. Indeed, they often participate in them.”
