Things that can ruin your day..

List and discuss things that really piss you off and ruin that superduper sunshiny mood you woke up with.

Not having cigarettes when you wake up.
A spatula that would rather ruin your breakfast than cooperate.
The egg yolk breaks.

Waking up to find out I have to wash dishes when I have been at work all week.

You go off to work/school and you realize you forgot the project you were working on for months.
Your brushing your teeth and theirs no more toothpaste
Your taking a shower and your idiot brother stole all the hot water
You miss your bus/carpool
Your out of cereal, waffles, pancakes, or any other breakfast food.
You wake up and your dead.

Asteroid smacks into the planet.

Someone tries to kill or maim you. That can be very stressful.

You get attacked by a pack of feral dogs on the way to work.

A major caustic chemical spill occurs in your neighborhood.

You come home from work to find your house is on fire.

Gosh, there are so many things...

Of course, many of them have a flip side, too. For example, let's say you get to work and find your office is on fire. That can make your day, not ruin it. ;)

Too late for my day, that has already embittered much of my life.

Waking up to find you have no deodorant. So you have to use bleach to keep the stink away.
Waking up to find you have chewing gum on your school blazer and your going look like a twat all day.
Waking up to find you can't speak language and can only speak a rubbish obnoxious language like catalan.
Waking up to find best friend brother in the same bed as you.

Wait..what....scrap the last one.

Death. It really does piss me off when I wake up and find myself in the Asphodel Fields.

In all honesty, waking up to realise you have to finish two essays in the next twenty minutes before going to lessons. That annoys me.

My days tend to get ruined fairly often....mostly for the following reasons:

not enough sleep
finding out the cigarette packs in my room are all emtpy
it being too damn cold to get a good nights sleep (take that Gore)
nightmares that make you paranoid during the day
hangover

When it's negative 30 degrees outside. Fahrenheit, Kelvin, or Celsius.

When both bathrooms are taken up and you gotta go.

Whenever you do the assignment, the teacher doesn't grade it, so you don't do the next one and he/she grades it.

Have you ever woken up in the morning and realized that your day is gonna suck on a scale not previously known to man? I do that every day. And then I realize that mercenaries AREN'T burning my village down and raping my mother and I go back to bed.

And all that is now and all that is gone
And all that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon

Waking up after six. Hitting the snooze button six times is my daily ritual, and it is not to be disturbed.

Getting tired before one AM.

Running out of chips/other salty snacks.

Running out of Coca-Cola or Sam's Choice Cola.

Finding out the internet is acting erratically today.

Not being able to focus for God-knows-what-reason.

Being woken up by neighbours or traffic an hour before my alarm is due to go off; lying awake for fifty minutes then finally drifting back off to sleep only for my alarm to go off.
Are we there yet?
