I missed it. How bad was it?
I believe it was a little after the start of the 4th quarter. It was 2nd down and Bama dropped back to pass. Coker was being pressured and he took off to run toward the sideline. He got taken down initially out of bounds but an Auburn player came up behind him and dove for his legs after he had been pushed out, which drew the 15 yard late hit penalty (the ref who threw the penalty slipped while running and got rekt. It horrible to laugh at but it was pretty fun. He was fine though). Of course, the Auburn fans booed because they thought differently. But then, Will Muschamp came un-fucking-glued at the ref and started screaming at him, which drew a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. When CBS was replaying it, you could read Muschamp's lips and he clearly said "fucking asshole". And for the remainder of Alabama's drive, the Auburn fans kept booing. They didn't even cheer when Auburn got a stop. Just "BOOOOOOOOOOOOO". Alabama wound up kicking a 48 yard field goal to go up 22-13.
tl;dr Auburn got called for late hit (funnily the ref who threw it slipped and got rekt). Will Muschamp thought differently went off on another ref, and drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Auburn fans proceed to boo for the next two minutes without stopping. Bama ends up kicking field goal to go up 22-13.

OSU more than earned their spot in the playoff.

TCU deserved to be in over OSU. OSU played like shit the majority of the year for 2014 and was frankly unconvincing as a playoff contender. The name "Ohio State", the win over Wisconsin, and the straight-up record got them their spot, not an actual analysis of what they did.

lol no

We're talking about OSU getting in over TCU for the last playoff. TCU is completely out of this year's field, and OSU has something like a .000000001% chance of getting in.

TCU's best wins were against an average Oklahoma team, an average Oklahoma State team, a Kansas State team that went winless against every good team (Auburn [who ended up not being good at all], TCU, Baylor, UCLA) they faced, and... Ole Miss, I guess. Minnesota, actually, was a good win too. You're also totally throwing their close call against an average WVU team and a very bad Kansas team out the window.
OSU had the win @ Minnesota, the win @ Michigan State, and the decimation of Wisconsin. Michigan State and Wisconsin pretty handily top any win that TCU had, and that's non-debatable. TCU had the better game against Minnesota, but OSU was also playing it @ Minnesota in frigid conditions (which, believe it or not, do greatly affect football games). TCU clearly had the better loss (against a Top 10 Baylor, even though I'd hardly considering that kind of 4th quarter win to be a "good" loss). That being said, the committee made it pretty clear that they were looking at improvement, and OSU was clearly a different team than the one that lost to VTech.

Of course, the NCAA didn’t bother to plan for this, because they’re apparently less competent than people who run fake sporting events on a Web forum. (Actually, they did come up with some very specific criteria by which ineligible teams could be selected, but there are precisely zero teams that meet those criteria.)
The NCAA Division I Football Oversight Committee met last Monday, when it was already apparent that reaching 80 eligible teams was unlikely, but didn’t manage to think of a solution then. Now committee chairman Bob Bowlsby says they might get to it next week if they feel like putting on their thinking caps extra tight.
I can see why the NCAA insists their competitions are amateur; they can be awfully amateurish at times.
