There are a lot of teams that put up really good fights, but it looks bad when you play them because they aren't SEC. Indiana has now pushed two pretty good teams to the absolute edge in home games this season. Whereas in years past SEC teams struggling against bottom feeders (*cough cough* Arkansas *cough cough*) is because of depth, OSU and other B1G teams struggling against Indiana is because they're overrated. I think Indiana is a legitimately good team, but they're inconsistent. Not good enough to contend but good enough to compete.

Flipping Arkansas. *Cooks a pig over an open-spit.*...Just...flipping pigs...

Yeah, SEC does get a lot of attention, huh?

Um, yeah it does. :p The narrative has kind of changed this year, though. I can't say I've heard anyone say the SEC is the clear cut best conference in the past few weeks, especially now that Bama and Florida are the only contenders left.

Only game left is Florida State in Gainesville. I fully expect the Gators will end up winning that one after the tough loss in the matchup last year.

Honestly Ohio State is dangerously close to being hot garbage. They are very obviously not the team they were a year ago and they seem to have gotten their wins this year on dumb luck half the time.

So does this mean that Derrick Henry is a for-sure Heisman frontrunner now?

Stupid Arkansas has a good D. Stupid pigs... *Eats some of the pork I had on the spit.*

I blame Miles. Fournette is a great player, he really is. We weren't prepared for anyone important, this year. At least your team prepares for the whole year. Henry is a great player,
no doubt, but Fournette's just slightly better. ;3

I'm a Buckeye 'til I die, and I think that having #16 JT Barrett back in the QB position will help us out a lot. Cardale's a good athlete, but he needs more refinement. We've just got to work on getting back into our groove and playing great Buckeye football. We practically sodomized Rutgers and beat Illinois, Penn State etc pretty handily. In my opinion, all the folks who think Ohio State is on the way out this year are grossly miscalculating - the median margin of victory is 23 points so far, with an average of 36 points scored per game. It's no reason to panic.

Next year, however...

To be honest, if the College Football Playoff goes the way it's looking right now, Buckeyes
all the way.

I love the Buckeyes, too, by the way. When they beat Bama, I was ecstatic. :D

Kind of a kick in the pants when an exciting win against Stanford means that the Ducks (and Arizona) may have effectively eliminated the Pac-12 from championship contention. Bah.

So long as a Pac-12 team wins the Rose Bowl, I guess. ;)

That would be pretty cool, but I don't think it would happen. The Rose Bowl is usually played between the Pac-12 and Big 10 Conference champions, unless one or both of those teams play for the national championship, in which case, the next best teams from each conference play.

My prediction for this year's matchup is Stanford and Iowa. :)

At the rate things are going, they'll play Baylor or TCU or maybe Florida (seriously, the 3/4 spot is gonna get crazy as the season winds down), and probably wind up getting blown the fuck out, because this offense is struggling even against total joke teams like Illinois.

The only reason they're in the top four currently is because they're undefeated. But this team very obviously sucks out loud and is playing a cupcake-riddled schedule.

The only reason they're in the top four currently is because they're undefeated. But this team very obviously sucks out loud and is playing a cupcake-riddled schedule.

And they had a cupcake schedule last year. Then they whipped Ala-flipping-Bama with a third-string QB.

Eh, true. I blame all the QB drama. Seriously, just let J.T. Barrett do his job.
