Yeah, and besides Big 10 and Big 12 teams (Ohio State and Oklahoma specifically), nobody outside the SEC can really beat Alabama right now. I mean, A&M just got totally throttled. I dunno who else (besides LSU, lol) could beat them right now...

Even LSU didn't seem that great. Only winning by a score over a Florida team using their backup quarterback is one thing, but to do it at night in Death Valley? I don't know, I wasn't particularly impressed, to be honest. However, I do think they've probably got the best chance of any one team.

Eh. Florida has a better D than most of the teams LSU has played this far. I mean, we've had a
REALLY wacky, REALLY easy season, so Florida might have been our first GOOD opponent (sorry South Carolina, you tried and I still wuv you!)

So...how do we feel about 7-0 Iowa? Are they legitimate playoff contenders? Their schedule is a cakewalk from here on out, they could easily run the table.

They play in a pretty weak division. By all means, they are the class of the B1G West, but playoff contender? I don't think so. We'll see when they play the B1G East champ.

That's true. I haven't been able to follow them too closely, so I'll trust you on this one.

Quite honestly, I don't think they're nearly the caliber of Michigan State or Ohio State. They're definitely a great team, but I don't see them pulling off an upset.

Depends on who they play in the B1G title game, which will more than likely be Michigan State or Ohio State. If they lose, they're pretty much out of contention. If they win, it's possible depending on how many undefeated teams are left at the end of the regular season.

Or maybe they lose to Purdue. Purdue usually scares the shit out of teams. I mean just look at when they played Michigan State.

B1G teams can show up and play anyone. They don't always, such as Minnesota smacking Purdue, but they can.

And even a 1-loss Iowa is probably in if they win the B1G. Whoever wins the B1G East has a strong case for a top 2 seed, and beating that with one or no losses means Iowa is in. In fact, I'd say a one loss Iowa makes it in over a two-loss SEC champ if all other seeds are one-loss or undefeated. SEC isn't good enough to justify a two-loss team and B1G is just strong enough that Iowa could sneak in.

The fact that Tennessee played you so close is utterly embarrassing. Not as much as our kicker, but still - you have some serious fucking work, Tide.

Eh. If we lose it'll probably be Joey's fault. Considering we play like utter shit at home, I'm not expecting anything great. Unless we bench Coker for that game, then we have a shot.

It's a sad day when I wish we had Georgia's kicker.

We have the best punter in the SEC. He should probably get some practice time at kicker now.

Well, to be fair, two of those three field goals Medley missed were from 50+ yards. Not easily makable, especially if they're at an angle. So you can't blame him too much. Should probably blame Butch Jones for sending him out there when he had already missed twice.
