What if Bill Clinton had never won and screwed up the econom

So if Bill had lost in 92 it would have been amazing because banks would not have been forced to lend money to people who can't repay. Bush would have also supported good economic policies so that the dot com boom wouldn't have been a bubble.

He also had better foreign policy that was not wimpy like Clinton's and there would have been no loss of respect for the USA and no 9/11.

Even better there would have been no Hillary Clinton, who doesnt deserve to win. No Benghazi no Obama no depression. Just morning in America since Reagan.

So I think that the world would look better if they had reelected George Bush senior. What say you nsg?

Mod edit: Fixed typo in poll.

No just truth. Not controversial truth if you don't let liberal media stirr up artificial controversy.

2 Bush sr
3 Bush jr
4 Clinton

6 Carter

...objectively it's actually 4th

Out of interest, who do you consider the best president in your lifetime?

I think your definition of objection is a little off the mark there...

When "Read My Lips, No New Taxes" actually means new taxes, what could go wrong? But one positive is he wouldn't have been a complete clusterfuck like his kid. Senior knew better than to invade Iraq for starters.

Yes, yes it is. I hope winter is strong enough this year to counteract it.

Don't know much about the banking situation, so I won't comment.

So, Clinton is responsible for 9/11 then? Not terrorists?

Hilary would still be a person. She might have even gone into politics anyway. Also, I think the election decides who DESERVES to win so we'll see about that. The Arab Spring wouldn't have happened? There would be no controversy involving our embassies in the Middle East? I'm sure we would have some other reason to complain. If you want to blame anyone for Obama, I would blame Palin and by extension McCain. We are not in a depression and we weren't recently. We were in a recession, which I'm sure you know is a bit different, though the causes of said recession are still heavily argued, are they not?

The edgy outlook
The controversial opinion
The complete assumption that said opinion is flawless
The inability to argue the point rationality

Textbook case of NS summer.

But that's still your 'call', aka opnion. Ipso facto, that's pretty subjective, not objective.

Aight ignoring everything else...how was Clinton's FP "wimpy" (which is basically just diplomatic)? I mean lets see:
1) Intervention in Somalia
2) Intervention in the Bosnian War (and a bit in Croatia as well iirc)
3) Intervention in Kosovo
4) Starting the hunt for bin Laden
5) Missile strikes against Sudan and Afghanistan
6) Strikes against Iraq

Yeah that's real wimpy there.

My count puts him in the #2 slot behind Reagan, and a tie between Carter and Obama.

The President who caused the most harm to our economy was Reagan. His debt is over $12 trillion and it is growing.

I'm heavily, heavily inclined to think Reagan...
