That goes against all logic.
That's like a women raping a man, and the man being arrested and charged with rape.
Yes it goes against all logic, but not against a political agenda.
the goal isn't to fix DV.
It's to drum up DV statistics that show women are more victimized than men. That lets you constantly demand more and more money to fix the problem.
It's a cash cow. Same as the rape hysteria cash cow.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/com ... ate_avoid/The problem is, because of the duluth model and regularly "Violence against women!!" propoganda, the notion of a male victim of domestic violence is extremely resisted against.
In some places, the cops are legally required to remove the male, regardless of circumstance.
In others, a woman bawling her eyes out and claiming he hit her first will be taken at her word, even if he is saying the opposite.
etc.
The stupidity of all of this is that the mens rights movement will probably solve violence against women long before the feminist one does.
The statistics show that most injuries and deaths happen to women who start shit with their husbands and escalate until he snaps and murders them or punches them back.
The statistics also show that men dying from domestic abuse dropped sharply once shelters for women were established.
The reason?
Wives being beaten by their husbands no longer had to resort to murdering them to get it to stop.
Men?
They still have to resort to that.
The violence against women narrative causes violence against women.
The stats show that women initiate more domestic violence than men do.
They are the majority of unidirectional abusers.
Most abuse is bi-directional.
Basically, if we can teach women not to be violent assholes to men, we can stop the majority of domestic violence.
The problem is, we're too busy teaching men not to be violent assholes to women.
That, by the way, is why i'd say there's a gap. If we stopped teaching men that, then I expect the numbers would equalize.
As it is though? Women are the majority of domestic abusers. They start most of the abuse, and are most of the ones who abuse a partner who doesn't fight back.
The problem is that men fight back sometimes. This injures women. This is then taken by the "VAW!" cash cow institutions and spun into sexism against women so gib moneyz. They then use those moneyz to lobby governments into doing shit like putting in Duluth model laws that target male abusers and ignore female ones.
The violence against women campaign, taken in that context, is a state sanctioned master-slave relationship where defending yourself gets you jail time, but your master is free to beat you.
The duluth model made the reverse duluth model an actual reality.
Women are given social license to beat their husbands into submission and the state will back them up on it. It's a complete clusterfuck.
Just bare that in mind the next time you see a feminist on tv waffling about domestic abuse and women.
Remember, she's talking mostly about abusers, and she's butthurt that the state isn't arresting their victims fast enough for having the gall to defend themselves. Whether this is just the inevitable implication of what they are arguing through stupidity, callous and money grubbing sociopathy, or an expression of hatred for men is up in the air.
But it's one of them.
When I say shit like "Feminism is the largest lobby for rapists and domestic abusers in history", I mean it.
