[Greed and Death]

I've been twice, the first I was in a crappy part of Brooklyn, good bagels, had fun while my dad's truck was being loaded...

The second, Im not sure what part I was in, just that I was in the city, me and my friend were lost trying to make our way to Connecticut, and noone spoke english, they still spoke with clicks, and you couldnt see much of anything cause it was dark, and there were rail lines going overhead...

Second time kind of sucked,

That is the thing about NYC, half the people don't even speak English, although the tourists usually do...

I speak Korean and Chinese do you think I can manage in New York city ?

You'll be fine with just English, even in the various Lower East side neighborhoods (Chinatown, etc).

You should probably brush up on some of your Yiddish, however. A lot of it has worked its way into common speech in the New York City area (schlep, schmear, schmaltz, schmooze, and schmuck are the big ones)

Yeah, I have been watching Woody Allen movies non stop.

Schmuck is probably the most important, and the most useful. I mean, how many other words can imply that someone is a dick, a twat, retarded, gullible, ignorant, and annoying, all at the same time?
