Funny, you don't look like Deian, so spare me your solipsism about what this thread means. If your lived reality sucks so much maybe you should work on fixing it instead of chasing diversions and shitting on people who try to increase understanding.

Oh you are adorable. SJW my lily-white arse. I'm generally abrasive, opinionated, and often smirky about all the touchy-feely bs - and a lot of that SJW stuff makes me want to break out the cluebat and apply it liberally about the head and shoulders, so to speak. We all go on the internet for different things. I figure you get out of it what you put into it. Garbage in, garbage out. Kinda like a lot of things in life ... I don't find reality boring either, though so, meh what would I know? And I get all the escapism I like in RP or my video games, or reading books and the like. You ah ... go on being you. But I gotta chuckle at anyone coming to NSG, of all places, to 'escape reality', given all the current events, real world issues, and people problems that are prominently posted post-haste. Preachy? Sure, some perhaps.

Anyways, our opinions were asked. I gave mine. You chose to get all butthurt about it for some reason. Have fun with that, Mr Hardcase. 2 edgy 4 me by far, mmhmm.

As for ideal? No such thing. Sure, you can come up with this list or idea of what it is you think you want, and pass up who knows how many potentially outstanding relationships, or at the least, friendships, in your tireless pursuit of this vision of perfection you've concocted, and most likely end up like my sister - 3 years younger than me, and still single, and not happy about it.

And she's the pretty one. Go fig.

Or you can know what you can work with, and what you can't, what you can accept, and what you won't, where you're willing to compromise and perhaps grow, and where you are secure and unbending on, and see where things take you.

Of course there will be things you like or dislike about people, but they don't come in cookie-cutter perfect packages. Example: I love my husband. He still has things about him that drive me absolutely nuts. Oddly, like the overly-loud snoring? It's one of those things I actually miss when he's not here. Again, go fig. Our minds do the damndest things to us that way.

So yeah - like who and what you like, by all means, but ditch the 'ideal' silliness. Get out there, experience life, expand your horizons, learn what does and doesn't actually work for you, and where you can do with a little stretching and adjusting, and live life.

Or not. *shrugs and smiles* Up to you.

This.

My ideal is more of an outline of the character and physical traits I'm most attracted to, then a set in stone perfect vision

Why is this thread not simply entitled, "Mai Waifu?"

Anyway, I just want a simple girl, who is playful, fun to hang out with, and has an engorged posterior.

I don't find sexual or romantic attraction to women, so it would make sense if I did with a pillow, but pillows can't love me.

Voted for Scalie because Scalies need love too.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman
