I'm not a fan of anything much newer than the 1980s, although I'll tolerate most of it save for rap/hip hop. I don't want to have to take insults to my choices in music though, and obviously the ideal would be that she shares the same/similar tastes. Same applies to films, video games, automobiles, etc.
