The average Indian uses 0.89 global hectares.
The Chinese have 2.11 hectares each, so about average.

And here's where it gets uncomfortable.

The average European uses 4.37; the average Brit uses 5.33; and the average American uses 9.42. Holy fuck.

The funny part is the US has nearly three times more hectares than they use up. Now that is even more messed up.

I'm not being particularly sanctimonious, or feeling guilty about it. There's clearly nothing I can do about it personally, so what can I feel guilty about? It just demonstrates the need for some changes somewhere along the road.

Is it any wonder the county seat is a hamlet with no more than 400 people with such miserable conditions being present?

GTA V. 62gb install? I'm almost offended by how much space it's going to take up on my HDD. Guess I won't be playing this one tonight.

Ah. Last.fm has caught on to the fact that I have a mild appreciation for lolicore and now the artist names on my recommendations list are going to get me invited to take a seat by Chris Hansen.

Send help.

Secondly, the US could be more efficient to the point the US could feed the world at a comfortable level. Now the problem is the US may have the infrastructure to distribute to the world, but much of the world does not.

David Attenborough explained it very thoroughly but I was trying to condense an hour long documentary into a single post - not my wisest choice, admittedly.

This is the one, if you're interested.

That it is, but this PC was built to play games, and at last I have a game worthy of its majesty.

Perhaps, but I don't console game much any more, and I have an Xbox 360 PC controller, which'll do the job nicely.

The controller will definitely come in handy. I can imagine a few bits being quite awkward to execute with a mouse and keyboard.

The problem is that people reproduce to excess in places that can't support such a population in the first place. It'd be like seeing that the Kansas corn has no chance of making it to Africa without better infrastructure in Africa.
