fwiw, i have two bad semesters in college, the first was due to .... well drugs and sex, the second schedule. I stacked my schedule like yours, I carried one more class than you did tuesday and thursdays afternoons, and my night class was 4 hours, but by the last after noon class and the night class i was shot. I do have a friend who was able to do it, i couldn't.

I know it's going to be really hard, especially considering I'm looking into getting a second job (same boss, different location) but I only have 6 semesters of Pell Grant left and I need it done by then.

i carried two jobs that year. a friend of mine was able to do it though, i dont know how many jobs he had.

Voice dysphoria. I have the unfortunate case of voice recording stuff making me sounds like a super villain. So if it's just that, it'd be really awkward. If I'm in front of a camera, people will be able to see I'm a woman.

As of now, I have never hiked with a pack. I plan on starting to since my goal is to thru hike the Appalachian Trail within the next few years and I will have to carry a heavy pack then.

80L pack, get one that has a bottom zip, plenty of dry sacks, watch out for bears.

Does anyone have any experience with using a tablet to take notes? I'm really bad at writing but was thinking about getting a tablet to take notes with, and preferably take pictures of examples on the board with.

I think most tablets have notepads as default.

The only issue with journalism is there'll be some inherent anxiety in much scenarios, what with interviews, speaking in front of a camera etc, but I expect those things to mostly go away during passing. As I think I've said, I aspire to bring LGBTQ+ issues into prominence.

Well journalists don't have to be on the TV. I've always liked the idea of being a radio and print journalist - although I don't know which I'd prefer more, sports or investigative.

I've apparent found out that some people like how I write about sports making it more exciting. Probably would like to start a sports blog someday.

practicing with a pole and pack may make sense then. the longest hike we did was 5 days. and i didnt use a pole, scrambling is harder with one, but for up and down it does help

Ah, the mountains in North Carolina only go up and down. None of them are flat. Gentle inclines are minimal.

Holy fuck. Mine's a 65+15 with a floating lid and that's more than enough for me to carry supplies for two weeks. What on earth do you keep in yours?

Mostly spare clothes (and some other) that I need to bring with me when I go to visit mom or dad, given that I don't have much my own clothes stored in their places anymore.

Ah, the mountains in North Carolina only go up and down. None of them are flat. Gentle inclines are minimal.

If you have to scramble up, the pole gets in your wqy, if your just walking up a steep trail, the pole really helps.
