Journalism would be the pragmatic choice of the two, for sure.

The only issue with journalism is there'll be some inherent anxiety in much scenarios, what with interviews, speaking in front of a camera etc, but I expect those things to mostly go away during passing. As I think I've said, I aspire to bring LGBTQ+ issues into prominence.

fwiw, i have two bad semesters in college, the first was due to .... well drugs and sex, the second schedule. I stacked my schedule like yours, I carried one more class than you did tuesday and thursdays afternoons, and my night class was 4 hours, but by the last after noon class and the night class i was shot. I do have a friend who was able to do it, i couldn't.

Well journalists don't have to be on the TV. I've always liked the idea of being a radio and print journalist - although I don't know which I'd prefer more, sports or investigative.

And yes, plenty of time for running AND hiking. Seriously debating whether or not I should purchase a hiking pole or not.

As of now, I have never hiked with a pack. I plan on starting to since my goal is to thru hike the Appalachian Trail within the next few years and I will have to carry a heavy pack then.

80L pack, get one that has a bottom zip, plenty of dry sacks, watch out for bears.

Well journalists don't have to be on the TV. I've always liked the idea of being a radio and print journalist - although I don't know which I'd prefer more, sports or investigative.

Yeah, but still. Radio, I honestly think would be worse than TV.

I'd probably start my own news site.

Voice dysphoria. I have the unfortunate case of voice recording stuff making me sounds like a super villain. So if it's just that, it'd be really awkward. If I'm in front of a camera, people will be able to see I'm a woman.

practicing with a pole and pack may make sense then. the longest hike we did was 5 days. and i didnt use a pole, scrambling is harder with one, but for up and down it does help

Does anyone have any experience with using a tablet to take notes? I'm really bad at writing but was thinking about getting a tablet to take notes with, and preferably take pictures of examples on the board with.
