I'm sorry, but TET is supposed to be like this, a chat thread where anyone can say anything unless it breaks the rules. And I am not spamming, because I am not saying this whenever someone says something, and I contribute to the discussion.
Spam doesn't have to be a continuous stream of absolute garbage - I mean most of the time it is, but it doesn't have to be. Given how much shite is actually posted in TET anyway - and I mean by everyone, myself included - surely we should be making an active effort to reduce it, right? And that means stuff like *unexpected wink* which has fuck all to do with anything that anyone is talking about is spam.
Forum Spam: Off-topic, irrelevant and multi-posts that do not belong, such as smiley spam, meme spam, linkspam, and attempting to increase your post count.
-- Fishing for attention can be distracting, even upsetting to other players. Your Facebook, Twitter or other social media sites are more appropriate places for it. This especially applies to unnecessary drama. Please, do not drop a drama bomb on a chat as a way of getting a response.
-- Greeter Spam is only posting a 'hi' or 'hello', especially in the chat threads. Please add something to the ongoing conversations, even if you're introducing something new.
From the OSRS. Off-topic, irrelevant, fishing for attention. All 3 would cover your original post quite succinctly.
