True, the bankruptcy should take care of a bit of the overbonding. Once the infrastructure costs cheapen, and services are back and in control, it will be a cheap place to live and work. I don't think it's going to take 100 years like Kannap does, but I think it will happen.

Putting some more thought into it, I change my estimation to 50 years. However, I don't believe that Detroit will make a full turnaround before then. Let's meet up in Detroit on August 3, 2065. *nods*
