Two angels take your soul and try to take you to heaven while demons judge you and try to take you to hell.
After that you wait while experiencing a trial of what's to come after the Final Judgement when you'll be ressurected and judged by God.

There should be an "I don't know" option.

In John's Gospel Jesus claims that he is the only one with reliable information about the afterlife, and he was very close lipped about it.

Could we have an "other" option in the poll?

My fate will be unknown.
I'll be on a battlefield so great, it will be like a sea, combatants crashing and swirling in waves. Fighting for my life, the view will pass from first person to a slowly rising panorama of the violence all around before it fades from sight beneath heaving storm-clouds.

Personally the afterlife from Darksider's 2 was pretty interesting since it was a cycle of constant purification, and rebirth. Unfortunately the End War corrupted the Earth, and prevented the humans from truly moving on. Even the king of Bones noted they could feel the wailing vengeance of billions of human souls, and felt sympathy for them. That sympathy did not extend to those who disobeyed the king however. I still cannot believe THQ went bankrupt what a shame. Now we will never see the views of the other two horsemen.

Lotsa worms.
While she had no regrets about throwing the lever to douse her husband's mistress in molten gold, Blanche did feel a pang of conscience for the innocent bystanders whose proximity had caused them to suffer gilt by association.

Well yeah considering the whole problem of Loki cosplaying as Jerry Falwell, and starting Ragnorak.

Actually being confident in any sort of afterlife is completely silly.

I doubt that "completely silly" is taken into account by the billions who do believe in some form of after life.

Of course this thread happens to fail when it comes to answering what happens during after death?

As in what happens when you die in the after life?
